We're committed to your satisfaction. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund for livanquet's monthly budgeting programs.

Understanding Your Refund Rights

Look, nobody likes talking about refunds. But sometimes things don't work out, and we get that. We've designed our refund policy around fairness—both for you and for us.

Our monthly budgeting programs involve real teaching time, personalized feedback, and ongoing support. Once you've started accessing course materials and receiving guidance, there's genuine value being delivered. That said, we absolutely want you to feel confident in your decision to join us.

You have 14 days from your enrollment date to request a full refund, provided you haven't completed more than 25% of the program content. After that window, partial refunds may be considered based on specific circumstances.

Enrolled within the past 14 days and accessed less than 25% of course materials. Full refund applies automatically.

Unable to access learning platform due to persistent technical problems on our end that we couldn't resolve within 7 days.

Serious health issues preventing program completion, supported by medical documentation. Partial refund for unused months.

Significant unexpected circumstances like job loss or relocation that genuinely impact your ability to continue. Reviewed case-by-case.

How to Request a Refund

Submit Your Request

Email us at info@livanquet.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line. Include your full name, enrollment date, and the reason you're requesting a refund. Be honest—we appreciate transparency and it helps us improve.

Provide Documentation

Depending on your situation, we might need supporting documents. For medical reasons, a doctor's note works. For technical issues, screenshots help us understand what went wrong. Don't stress about perfect documentation—just give us enough to review fairly.

Review Period

We'll acknowledge your request within 48 hours and conduct a full review within 5 business days. If we need more information, we'll reach out. We're not trying to make this difficult—we just want to understand your situation properly.

Decision and Processing

Once approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with the refund amount and expected timeline based on your payment method. We'll explain exactly what you're getting back and why.

Complete process typically takes 2-3 weeks from initial request to funds appearing in your account. We try to move faster when we can, but banking systems have their own timelines.

Common Refund Scenarios

Changed Your Mind Early Full Refund

Enrolled 8 days ago, watched two intro videos, and decided budgeting programs aren't for you right now. You're well within the 14-day window and haven't progressed far. Simple approval—full refund processed.

Halfway Through Program Not Eligible

Completed three months of a six-month program and now want to withdraw. You've received substantial value—personalized feedback, access to all materials, and instructor time. Refunds don't apply here, though you keep access to materials you've already unlocked.

Unexpected Job Loss Partial Refund

Two months into a four-month program when you lose your job. We understand financial hardship isn't planned. You'll receive a prorated refund for the remaining two months, minus any non-refundable administrative fees.

Platform Access Problems Full Refund

Can't log in despite multiple support tickets over 10 days and we haven't fixed it. That's on us. Full refund applies because you literally couldn't access what you paid for. We'd also want to fix the problem for future students.

Medical Emergency Partial Refund

Three weeks into program when a serious health issue arises requiring extended recovery. With medical documentation, you're eligible for a prorated refund. We're not heartless—life happens and we accommodate genuine hardship.

Payment Methods and Processing Times

Credit/Debit Card

Refunds appear in 5-10 business days depending on your bank's processing schedule. We process immediately on our end.

PayPal

Usually the fastest option—most refunds show within 3-5 business days. PayPal notifies you directly when funds arrive.

Bank Transfer

Takes 7-14 business days for domestic transfers. International transfers can take up to 21 days due to banking protocols.

Important Processing Details

  • Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used for enrollment
  • We can't split refunds across multiple accounts or payment methods
  • Currency conversion fees (if applicable) are your responsibility on international refunds
  • If your original payment method is closed or expired, contact us for alternative arrangements
  • Processing times don't include weekends or Australian public holidays

When Refunds Don't Apply

Being upfront here—some situations just don't qualify for refunds. It's not about being difficult, but about protecting the integrity of what we're trying to build.

  • You've completed more than 25% of the program content after the initial 14-day period
  • You've downloaded or saved course materials for future use (that's considered full consumption)
  • You violated our terms of service, like sharing login credentials or course content publicly
  • You're requesting a refund for a promotional or discounted enrollment that clearly stated "non-refundable"
  • You simply didn't like the teaching style or approach—that's subjective and we offer free previews to help you decide
  • You didn't complete assignments or participate in feedback sessions and now claim lack of value
  • More than 60 days have passed since your enrollment date, regardless of circumstances
  • You're requesting a refund because you didn't achieve specific financial outcomes (we never guarantee results)
